 There is an POD included. You can find it in
site/modules/core/Dynamic/AssetActions/Interface.pod.
 You can also take a look at the already implemented plugins in
site/modules/core/Dynamic/AssetActions like the Thumbnail or RecodeCharset,
and also the MIME type containers Image and Text for instance.
